This one day course is aimed at beginners or those with limited experience who would like to improve their skills. It provides a basic understanding of shotgun shooting coupled with practical experience at the clay ground. There is no requirement for you to have your own shotgun. Safety, law and technique will be dealt with in a classroom before moving on to the clay ground for the practical aspects dealing with shooting positions and shotgun technique. The course will offer you plenty of time at the clay ground using a variety of shotgun types. Shotguns and cartridges will be provided. You may of course bring your own gun(s), but if you do, please bring with you your current shotgun certificate and cartridges.

Cancellation policy
Should there be insufficient bookings, BASC reserve the right to cancel the course. In the interests of fairness BASC will aim to provide candidates notification of cancellation as soon as possible prior to the advertised start date.
We strongly recommend that fees for any accommodation you book are refundable as BASC will not be responsible for any losses incurred by candidates.
If for any reason you cancel your place on the course then the following scale of charges may apply:-
