Join us for an introductory gundog training session. Geared towards complete beginners and young dogs, this session will cover the fundamental basics of gundog training, such as:
- utilising place boards for positioning, sit, heel and delivery
- simple retrieving
- getting started with hunting
- using mealtimes as training time
Training will take place outdoors in a relaxed and friendly environment with an expert trainer with access to some fantastic facilities.
This would also be suitable for more experienced dogs and handlers who need a brush up on the very basics.
The workshop will be delivered by Regional Officer Fliss Winters, who has professionally trained gundogs for a number of years and has a track record in winning awards at field trials and working tests with her dogs across the South East. She and her dogs regularly pick up on a variety of shoots.
