We are excited to host a Wildfowl Identification Day at Upchurch River Valley Golf Club (and the marsh) on Friday 14th November 2025.
Having the skills and knowledge to identify our quarry species is essential for sustainable shooting. Skilled wildfowlers will guide you through the key species, teaching you how to confidently identify wildfowl and offering insight into the many species of birds you may encounter in the field.
This event is hosted by passionate sportsman and conservationist, Bill Barling, who was the winner of BASC’s Stanley Duncan Conservation Trophy in 2024.
Cost: BASC members £40, each BASC member may bring one non-member guest at an additional cost of £55. Price includes a jacket potato or sandwich for lunch.
This event is open to BASC members, the event is subsidised as a member benefit. If you are not a member of BASC and would like to attend, please Join – BASC.
