Join BASC and the Leicestershire Wildfowlers Association for an afternoon of roost shooting on the Buckminster Estate near Grantham.
This event is aimed to give young shots an experience of wood pigeon control in a woodland setting. You will also learn about why pigeons need to be controlled, the general licence and the field craft required.
This event is aimed at junior members who have some previous shooting experience and now want to experience woodland pigeon shooting.
Young Shots will need to wear warm and waterproof outdoor clothing/ footwear suitable for a typical shoot day during the winter.
Safety equipment and shotguns will be provided but Young Shots are welcome to bring their own shotgun, if they have one but please contact us first before booking.
Cartridges will be provided.
Parents / guardians are permitted to attend this event.
