BASC Rifle Club will be running Range Days at Bisley Sporting Rifle Range for 2026 – mark these dates in your diary.
- Thursday 19th March – HALF DAY
- Thursday 23 April – FULL DAY
- Thursday 2 July – FULL DAY
- Thursday 8 October – FULL DAY
- Thursday 26 November – HALF DAY
Participants will have the opportunity to shoot both static targets and running boar/running deer targets with .22 rimfire and centrefire rifles, over the course of the day.
Bisley Sporting Rifle Range – All firing points are covered
- 100m Running Deer range – electronically scored
- Two 50m Running Boar ranges – electronically scored
- 100m static range – electronic scoring
- Stalkers test – electronically scored – The Stalkers Test requires the shooter to fire two shots from the prone position; two shots sitting; two shots kneeling; two shots standing and the final two from a bench simulating the position of a high seat; subject to interest on the day.
These Range Days at Bisley Sporting Rifle Centre, are for BASC members to zero and practice. Eligibility is as follows
- You must be a member of BASC
- You must be aged 18 or over
- You must hold a current valid firearms certificate with appropriate conditions for the firearms you wish to use
- You must have a safety certification card (SCC) BASC rifle club issues SCCs for the purposes of BASC Range days (see Section 4)
The NRA rules of shooting defines types of firearms and ammunition which may be used on their ranges for target shooting. The individual firer is responsible for ensuring that their firearm is properly maintained and that the ammunition is in every way safe and within the range parameters for muzzle velocity (MV) and muzzle energy (ME).
Those attending BASC Range Days are required to sign a declaration confirming the above. Range staff also monitor firearms and ammunition during the course of the day.
Cost of a full day is £95.00, half day £60.00 and SCC £20.00
