The Deer Stalking Certificate 1 (DSC1) is a course specifically designed for any shooters who have recently taken up stalking and are seeking further guidance and training.
This course will provide insight into and a broader understanding of deer stalking techniques and deer management.
Those completing the course successfully will be awarded the Deer Management Qualifications, Deer Stalking Certificate 1 and the large game theory element of DMQ Wild Game Meat Hygiene.
BASC offers three different pathways to achieve your DSC1 qualification. You can choose between our:
- DSC1 Online Theory, with a single-day practical assessment. (Learn at your own pace.)
- Expert-led DSC1 (4-day classroom-based course with both theory and practical assessments on the final day).
- Assessment only (for those candidates already familiar with the course content and wish to go straight to the assessments)
