Advanced Novice Retriever training day
Due to the current outbreak of COVID 19 we are delivering courses to government guidelines making sure they are COVID safe. Subject to the government guidance, local lockdowns and National Lockdowns we may have to postpone some courses in the future at short notice. If your course is going to be postponed, you will be contacted directly by a member of staff to discuss your options.

By advanced novice, we mean that your dog must be a minimum of 12 months old with limited to very little working experience but must have done its main basic training. Previous experience of walking to heel on/off the lead, sit, retrieves mainly to hand, used to gunshot or similar such as a starting pistol would be an advantage for the training but is not essential.
Trainer Mike Jones, of Wauniago Gundogs is a Welsh Retriever Team member, with a vast knowledge of training, working and competition experience. His most recent success saw him placed 4th in the 2019 International Retriever Championships with his dog ‘Buzz.’
Places availability will be limited with a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 10 places, in accordance with Covid 19 regulations. Where possible please come alone, as only the trainer/helpers and those booked in will have access to the training areas.
£50 members / £60 non-members
*** Please note that the training session will be held on a green field site with no toilet facilities. Please wear suitable clothing, training vest/bag if you wish and footwear to suit the weather and ground which in the main is a flat area but may have longer grass/rushes in certain areas.
Please bring your own lunch and refreshments.
Dummies will be provided but please bring your own your own dog waste bags.
