BASC in conjunction with Clinton Devon Estate are running this event that is designed for anyone interested in learning more about deer stalking and the skills involved in managing deer responsibly and sustainably. The day will combine classroom-based theory with practical, hands-on activities, giving attendees a genuine insight into what is required to become a competent and professional deer manager.
The day will include –
· Intro to Deer Stalking presentation
· Equipment/kit inspection
· Rifle inspection
· Skinning demonstration
· Next steps into deer stalking
Whether you are completely new or looking to broaden your understanding, this event offers a great opportunity to build knowledge, ask questions, and learn from experienced practitioners.
Refreshments included, along with a venison burger/sausage
Please bring with you suitable outdoor clothing and footwear.
