BASC South East in conjunction with Plumpton College Game Department will be holding a “Game Management Evening” on Tuesday 26th February 2019 at Plumpton College, Nr Lewes, East Sussex.

The evening will include talks by various guest speakers –

Nick Green from T Denne & Sons, First crop seeds talking about Game Cover Crops, with specialist advice on species selection and site suitability.

An update from the BASC Game management department on The Agreement on International Humane Trapping Standards (AIHTS) and upcoming changes to trapping in the UK.

Leading game bird veterinary surgeon Mark Elliott will speak about hygiene and medication for pheasant and partridge poults and Rob Gearing from Spartan Precision engineering will be talking about Javelin Bipods and rifle shooting.

After each presentation there will be a short Q&A session before the next speaker.

There will also be a number of trade stands, already confirmed – Swarovski Optik –Kent & Sussex Shooting school– Javelin Bipods – AC Guns who will be showcasing their products and answering questions.

The BASC SE interactive shooting simulator the “SimWay Hunt” it’s the world’s most advanced 3D hunting and target shooting simulator will be on site so come have a go!

Doors open at 6.00pm. There will also be a raffle on the night with proceeds raised going towards the BASC South East “Young Shots” programme.
