This workshop will provide candidates with in-field practical experience of best practice gralloching techniques, with tuition from industry experts on carcass inspection, handling and optimal hygiene practice.

Target audience – Intermediate level stalkers, i.e. those with some experience of deer stalking, who have possibly completed DSC1 and are looking to start DSC2 or those who have started DSC2 and are wishing to gain more experience and knowledge

We will be meeting at the Courtyard café on the Thoresby estate.

Hot drinks provided on arrival.

The day will include a talk and presentation from BASC deer officer James Sutcliffe followed by In-field training from Thoresby estate deer manager John Senior.

After the in-field workshop we will return to the café for a delicious venison burger with the opportunity to hold a Q&A session
