Join us for a training workshop open to all breeds of gundog and their crosses, aged 12 months + who have some basic training in place already (sit, retrieve, recall, familiar with the sound of gunshot). Training will take place outdoors in a relaxed and friendly environment with an expert trainer with access to some fantastic facilities.
Trainers from West Berkshire Gundog Club will introduce handlers and their dogs to the role of the beating line, covering essential skills, etiquette, safety and teamwork in the field. The day is ideal for anyone looking to build confidence and prepare their gundog for a day’s beating. This event is also suitable as a refresher for older dogs. There is a maximum of one dog per handler.
Cost: £65.00 for BASC members, includes BBQ lunch
