UK Deer Track and Recovery (UKDTR) are running a workshop for BASC and BDS members with a focus on getting your dog started on their tracking journey. Perhaps you are a deer stalker with a young dog or simply interested in getting involved.
UKDTR are a non-profit organisation whose sole aim is providing a free service to assist deer stalkers and deer managers to track, locate and (if required) dispatch wounded deer.
Covering all the essentials such as equipment, getting started in tracking and how to progress. This workshop is ideal for dogs aged 6 months plus. Training is generally undertaken on a lead and in a safe space.
Cost £45.00. This event is open to BASC and BDS members only
Please note this workshop is not suitable for dogs who are reactive towards other dogs or people.
