Come along for a day full of hints, tips and guidance built up over years of experience.
On the day you will be welcomed by the team over refreshments, then move on to learn in
the classroom and in the field.
In the morning, we will cover the purpose of decoying woodpigeons, the law regarding the subject, quarry identification, range judging, building hides and setting out decoys.
You will then go back out to shoot simulated woodpigeon clay targets from a hide.
A luxury lunch will then be provided.
After lunch, we will cover reconnaissance, what crops woodpigeons will be feeding on and when, roost shooting pigeons, the most effective techniques, and the law, before moving onto to dress woodpigeon and a cooking and tasting session.
Finally, we will finish with a fun quiz.
The day is fun and informative, a great way for you to learn and become the ultimate woodpigeon shooter.

Cost: £60pp member £65pp non member.
All equipment will be provided but please bring suitable outdoor clothing for the weather conditions.
Attendees are welcome to bring their own shotguns, please ensure you also bring your shotgun certificate. Guns must be suitable for steel shot, choked half or less, with a chamber length of 65mm or longer.
