We would like to invite you to our Ladies Introduction to Duck Flighting on Friday 4th November 2022. This is an exciting opportunity to take part in an accompanied evenings duck flight on the Cubley estate near Ashbourne.

Registration will start at 15:00 followed by introductions and a briefing. You will then draw pegs and head out for a 2hour duck flight. Everyone will receive one to one instruction in the hide from an experienced mentor. Once the duck flight is complete we will reconvene in the shoot room for soup and drinks.

This event is aimed at those that have not experienced a duck flight before.

You will need to bring;

  • Warm and waterproof clothing (jacket and trousers) suitable for outdoor shooting activities. Green or drab colours preferred.
  • Warm hat
  • Gloves
  • Ear defenders
  • Wellies (essential)
  • Waders (if owned)
  • Torch
  • Stick
  • Cartridge bag
  • Game bag (if owned)
  • BASC membership card / proof of insurance for non members
  • Shotgun which is proofed to accept standard performance steel shot
  • Non-toxic cartridge’s
  • Shotgun Certificate

Cost: £50 for BASC Members / £65 for non members (Must provide proof of insurance).
