Due to the outbreak of COVID 19 and government guidance BASC took the decision to postpone all training courses scheduled up until the end of June 2020. With the restrictions starting to be lifted in different areas of the UK at different rates, we expect courses to start going ahead from the 9th July in England and at later dates in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales. All courses will be reviewed on a daily basis and be led by government advice. I would like to thank all our future course participants for being understanding during this difficult period. If your course was postponed or is going to be postponed you will be contacted by a member of staff. The list of current courses are published on the BASC website and are open to booking subject to further government guidance.

About the League
As from March 2018 the LCSL are running a league table for ladies shooting as both individual and team members. In 2019 there will be eight league events running from March to October 2019 and all will be shot on a Saturday.
The Events will be held at :
The format will be a 75 bird shoot across three disciplines open to all ladies from all counties. There will be six English Sporting (ESP) events and the remaining two will be Skeet (ESK) and Down the Line/Trap (DTL). The Skeet shoot will be at North Wales Shooting School and the DTL shoot will be at Holmes Chapel.
The League is designed for women who want that bit more out of their shooting and would like an introduction to a competitive and informative environment. The events will be run in a helpful, friendly atmosphere where you can experience all aspects of competitive shooting. Scoring will be done within the event squads and assisted by Cheshire CPSA volunteers where possible.
As an individual, you will be classified (A, B or C shooter) this will be determined at each event, you must shoot five of the eight events to qualify for the end of season awards. Upon registration you can nominate your chosen ground team that you wish to shoot for. The best four scores per team members will count for the Top Team award at each event.
We have lined up through the year top lady shooters to give you demos and hopefully answer any questions you may have. We are incredibly lucky to have this opportunity and we hope that you will be able to take advantage of these sessions.
The Gun Cartridge Trophy and individual awards
There will be a Presentation of awards ant the end of the season, as a team you will shoot for the Gun Cartridge Trophy, the trophy every ground wants in their cabinet! There will also be a presentation for individual Awards, and we will release more details as the League goes through the year.
At each event we will reward the Top Team, and Overall High Gun. The classified High Gun, 2nd and 3rd place shooters will receive awards at the following event.
To be in with a chance of winning the Individual League, you need to complete a minimum of five events.
