GOWER WATER VOLES NEED YOUR HELP
Have you seen any water voles or Mink? If you or anyone you know lives within the Gower peninsula, please keep an eye out and report sightings and location by calling the NRW incident hotline on 0300 065 3000 or email Communications@naturalresourceswales.gov.uk
BASC will be running water vole awareness and mink control courses on Gower. At these courses you will learn all you need to know about monitoring for the presence of water vole and mink. You will receive free monitoring rafts, with monitoring pads and traps on a loan basis. We will train you how to safely and humanely trap and control mink, if you don’t want to dispatch them yourself, we can put you in touch with BASC members who can do so on your behalf.
BASC are running a free Mink control training course on Wednesday 15th at Gower Golf Club. The course will start at 18.30 and will finish at approximately 22.00.
