A day of basic gundog training for those with young or novice gundogs, or those interested in finding out about gundog work.

This is a relaxed and informal day with trainers from West Berkshire Gundog Club armed with hints and tips on how to work with your dog.

Through the day handlers will learn about and practice on and off lead heel work, steadiness and control around distractions, introduce different types of retrieving, and how to harness the hunting drive.

Equipment needed for the day: Dog, collar, lead or slip lead, gundog whistle, rewards and lunch.

The day is open to all breeds of gundog. Cost BASC members £45.00, non-members £55.00
