BASC invites you to join them on a patterning day at East of England Shooting Ground on 2nd November.

The purpose of the day is to ensure you are informed and your gun, choke and cartridge choice are correct for your intended quarry.

On the day you will be greeted by a member of the team, have your gun inspected ensuring it is suitable for steel shot.

You will then be briefed on the various types of cartridges available with different wadding systems and be given an update on the UK reach process and have any question you have answered.

You will then be taken across to the pattern plate area and fire a number of shots through each barrel, checking pattern densities in line with best practice.

Once you have finished shooting you will then be invited back to have further discussions and talk about the cartridges used.

Cost: BASC members £35pp, non members £45pp. These are one to one sessions and should take no longer than 1 hour- slots available from 11:00 to 16:00.

Attendees must be 18 years of age or over. Please ensure you bring your shotgun certificate with you on the day. Your shotgun must be choked half or less, nitro proof and suitable for steel cartridges.
