BASC East invites you to join them on a patterning day at Cambridge Gun Club on 18 September.
The purpose of the day is to ensure you are informed and your gun, choke and cartridge choice are correct for your intended quarry.
On the day you will be greeted by a member of the team, have your gun inspected ensuring it is suitable for steel shot,
You will then be briefed on the various types of cartridges available with different wadding systems.
You will be given an update on the UK reach process and have any question you have answered
You will then be taken across to the pattern plate area and fire several shots through each barrel, checking pattern densities in line with best practice.
Once you have finished shooting you will then be invited back to have further discussions and talk about the cartridges used.
The cost is £35 per member, and £45 for non-members and should take no longer than 1-hour slots available from 11:00 to 16:00.
Attendees must be 18 years of age or over.
