An afternoon of exercises designed to test the steering and brakes before the season gets into full swing and to give handlers tools to improve aspects of their dogs work. Exercises will include hunting and retrieving with the distraction of shot, other dogs working, bolting ‘rabbits’, and more.
All exercises will help handlers understand what motivates their dogs and how to use this to reward their dogs.
The afternoon will be set up to allow dogs and handlers to progress and achieve goals without the use of fear or punishment.
