BASC Wales are pleased to be running a retriever gundog training day in two parts at Fedw Equestrian Centre.
Part 1 is on Sunday 24 March
Part 2 is on Sunday 28 April.
These events are suitable for the novice handler and young retriever dogs aged from 7 months to 12 months old. It is a basic training day that will cover walking to heel on/off lead, sit/stay, recall and potentially short simple retrieve and delivery. No simulated shot will be used at this age.
Even though this is a two-part training day, you can book on one session but there is a discounted price for booking both. Payment details below.
Timings:
9:15 Booking in.
9:45 Introduction and health and safety briefing.
10:00 Morning session starts.
12:30 Lunch and de-brief on morning activities
1:15 Afternoon session starts.
Please bring a packed lunch, however cold and hot drinks are available on the day at the cafe. Please ensure you bring suitable clothing/footwear for the weather.
Please ensure you bring:
- a suitable lead.
- a whistle.
- poo bags.
- water for dogs.
- a dummy if you have one.
- and a packed lunch for yourself.
Event price:
BASC Member: Both sessions £90 (or £45 per session)
Non-BASC Member: Both sessions £100 (or £50 per session)
