Due to the outbreak of COVID 19 and government guidance BASC took the decision to postpone all training courses scheduled up until the end of June 2020. With the restrictions starting to be lifted in different areas of the UK at different rates, we expect courses to start going ahead from the 9th July in England and at later dates in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales. All courses will be reviewed on a daily basis and be led by government advice. I would like to thank all our future course participants for being understanding during this difficult period. If your course was postponed or is going to be postponed you will be contacted by a member of staff. The list of current courses are published on the BASC website and are open to booking subject to further government guidance.

On 19th July we are pleased to be running a retriever gun dog training day with expert trainers Mark and Jamie Bettinson in Mid Glamorgan. Dogs will be taught the basics through to walked up and driven set pieces. Shot will be used alongside dummies and tennis balls to educate your dog on the art of retrieving.
Participants will need to register by 9.45am where refreshments will be available. Participants will need to bring a packed lunch and suitable clothing and footwear is advised (the grounds used will either be moorland or grass fields with stone walls). Participants are welcome to bring two dogs along to the training day (one to attend morning session and one to attend the afternoon session).
£50 member / £60 non-member
Places are available on a first come, first served basis and will only be secured by full payment and booking form. We anticipate this training event to be very popular so we will be running another event later in August.
