S&CBC Ladies Simulated Game Day, Bisbrooke Hall, Leicestershire

Due to the outbreak of COVID 19 and government guidance BASC took the decision to postpone all training courses scheduled up until the end of June 2020. With the restrictions starting to be lifted in different areas of the UK at different rates, we expect courses to start going ahead from the 9th July in England and at later dates in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales. All courses will be reviewed on a daily basis and be led by government advice. I would like to thank all our future course participants for being understanding during this difficult period. If your course was postponed or is going to be postponed you will be contacted by a member of staff. The list of current courses are published on the BASC website and are open to booking subject to further government guidance.

Come join us for a family-run simulated game day in the beautiful rolling hills of Rutland! It is simply one of the best sim days around with some great high hedges, rolling hills and woodland shooting.

The day is run as a full days’ shooting. The Guns arrive around 9:00 where we are greeted with bacon rolls, tea and coffee followed by a warm welcome and safety talk by host Patrick. We then move on to the first two drives on the grouse moor. Mid morning, local sausage rolls are served with soft drink and beer, followed up by another drive of screaming clays! Then it is back to the Great Hall for a two course home cooked lunch, served with wine and other drinks. Finally, the day ends in the wood, pigeon roosting.

This is an action-packed day and guns should expect to shoot at between 4000-5000 clays in total.
