Have you heard of John Macnab’s infamous fictitious challenge where he shot a Red deer, a brace of grouse and caught a salmon, all in 24 hours? Well, how would you like a chance of replicating this in the heart of Essex with our simulated Macnab experience?

Come along to Chigborough Fisheries on April 4 2024 for a fun session of clay shooting (simulating pigeons), air rifle shooting (simulating deer shooting) followed by fly fishing for trout, all under the supervision of experienced coach’s.

In teams of four you will not only get a chance to try all three activities, but you will also get to taste pigeon, venison, and trout too and, if you do catch a trout then you can take it home! There is also a Cafe onsite.

Suitable for anyone that’s able to hold a shotgun this event is suitable for all ages, families, friends or, if you want to come alone, then we can team you up in a group.

The BASC Eastern team will also be on hand to answer any questions about everything shooting and conservation.

There’s also a discount for buying 4 tickets so this really would make an excellent gift for anyone who’s ever wanted to try shooting and fishing!

Individual cost: BASC members £45 per person, non members £55 per person.
Team of four BASC Members: £160 (All members of the team must be BASC members)
