Category: Deer Stalking
BASC and the British Deer Society (BDS NI), are running a “Talking Stalking” evening on Thursday 23 October in the Armagh City Hotel.
We are delighted to have the Head of the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Firearms and Explosives Branch (FEB) in attendance, to highlight the recent improvements to the online firearms application system. This event provides members of both organisations with a fantastic opportunity to provide feedback on the service provided by FEB, directly to the Head of Branch.
We are also delighted to have Forest Service Wildlife Ranger Donald Whiteside in attendance. Donald will share his extensive practical experience of using non-toxic ammunition for deer management, a topic that is of significant interest to deer stalkers.
Adrian Fitzsimons from BDS NI, a former Environmental Health Officer, will present on the process of becoming a Food Business Operator (FBO). This is another topic that will interest many deer stalkers.
We are also pleased to have John Dougal in attendance. John is the sales manager for NI and the RoI, for Thomas Jacks, and he will be displaying a wide range thermal and night vision of products.
The event which starts at 7:00pm sharp, is only open to BASC and/or BDS members and costs £10 per person. Tea and coffee will be provided.
Places are limited and we expect this event to book up quickly!
Please contact the BASC NI office on 028 92 605050 to book your place, which must be paid for in advance.
