BASC Main Stand

BASC’s main stand will be packed full of innovative displays and information with our key themes running through the entire stand. Our sustainable shooting area will feature our core departments such as Wildfowling, Game Keeping, Deer & Woodland Management and Conservation. Our firearms specialists will be available to answer any of your enquiries and if you wish to join BASC or renew your membership, our team will be on hand. The press and media team will be present ready to discuss hot topic issues and our commercial services department will have a display featuring the latest BASC member offers. Wild Food Taster Teepee

This year we will be showcasing game meat in our Wild food taster tepee next to the BASC main stand opposite the main arena. Pop along to watch chefs Amy Thompson and Ralph Skripek cook a variety of dishes and grab a tasty sample or two.

Wild Food Theatre

Watch Britain’s top game chefs in live cookery demos, sharing secrets and teaching new skills. These chefs champion wild, sustainable produce, offering inspiring recipes and ideas. The BASC Wild Food Theatre also educates on food provenance and sustainability, with advice from chefs who shoot, fish, hunt, and forage.

BASC Airgun Line

Adults and children can enjoy 10 shots for £3 whilst being mentored by a BASC air rifle coach.

BASC Clay Shooting Line

BASC Shotgun Coaching at The Game Fair 2024
Adults and children can enjoy a lesson from a qualified BASC shotgun coach, covering eye dominance, safe gun handling, correct stance, gun fit, gun mount and how to hit a moving target.

BASC Safe Shot

BASC Shotgun Safe Shot provides those that take it with a chance to demonstrate a confident and safe use of shotguns in a field based situation. It was designed with the knowledgeable live quarry shooter in mind. The Safe Shot assessment is made up of 3 elements:- a multiple choice question paper, an empty gun handling section after which you will be asked to demonstrate safe live firing.

BASC Shotgun Experience

As well as lessons, there will also be an opportunity for beginners and experienced alike to shoot informally with a coach in our ‘shooting experience’.

Try Sustainable Ammunition

BASC would like to invite you to come and try Eley steel cartridges on clays under the supervision of a BASC coach.

BASC Gundog Scurries
