BASC will be back at this year’s Northern Shooting Show, with a variety of stands, services, expertise, demonstrations and competitions.
All youngsters 15 years and under can attend this year’s show for free courtesy of BASC, making a family trip to the show even more affordable.
This year’s show will feature;
BASC membership stand (located in the main hall), featuring expert firearms and membership advice, plus book signing from Sir Johnny Scott and the North York Moors Moorland Organisation. From ladies shooting to Young Shots, wildfowling and conservation we have something for everyone.
BASC Deer Stand
The BASC deer stand, located outside in the deer focus area, will be be home to deer specialist trades and advice, plus a trophy measuring service throughout the weekend.
There will also be regular live Taste of Game cookery demonstrations featuring Esther Veerman “The Country Cook” and many more. The deer stand will also be home to our shooting simulator, a state of the art experience that offers the opportunity to test your skills on anything from driven boar and duck flighting to walked up grouse. There will even be the chance to enter our shooting challenge competition.
BASC Scurry League
There will ba an opportunity to enter the popular BASC Scurry League with prizes awarded at the show and a chance to earn points within the overall competition. The show will also feature a special Northern Shooting Show scurry, so there are plenty of opportunities to have a go.
BASC Clay Coaching
Our expert BASC clay shooting coaches will be available for coaching lessons throughout the weekend. From that first novice lesson to working on some specific issues we can provide a quality experience for all.
Due to the current outbreak of COVID 19 we are delivering courses to government guidelines making sure they are COVID safe. Subject to the government guidance, local lockdowns and National Lockdowns we may have to postpone some courses in the future at short notice. If your course is going to be postponed, you will be contacted directly by a member of staff to discuss your options.
