Join BASC East for an experience like no other!
This event will take place over two days in Bedfordshire at the Childerley Sporting estate.
Day 1- Will consist of talks from BASC and Paul Childerley, before heading out to the field for simulated game shooting, luxury elevenses, simulated deer stalking, rifle practice (use of rifles and ammunition included) and a tour of the estate, in preparation for the game day ahead. There will be demonstrations on how to prepare deer, before retiring to your room, ready for an evening around the firepit.
In the evening, there will be a drinks reception along with butchery demonstrations of Deer, Partridge and Mallard. You will then be served your harvest of the day, cooked in front of you beside the firepit. This will include Partridge and Duck starters, with Venison, followed by luxurious hand made desserts.
Day 2- Will include four drives of east Anglia’s finest driven partridge and duck, this will be a 150 bird day and attendees will share a peg and load for each other, making it all the more enjoyable! There will be elevenses in the field and when the shooting is done, we will head back to the shoot lodge for a game dinner.
This event takes place on the 4 and 5 of October, attendees must have their own shotgun and certificate, guns must be suitable for steel shot. All cartridges are included.
Please note, overnight accommodation is not included and will need to be booked separately.
