| BASC Central will be hosting a Sustainable Ammunition event at Giles Marriott’s gunshop in Leicestershire, tailored to the Side-by-Side owners.
We have delivered a significant number of events over the past two years aimed at the owners of newer O/U shotguns so we felt it important to organise an event for the side-by-side owners. Join us on Sunday 23rd October for a unique event, where BASC will provide you with an up-date on the lead transition, Giles Marriott and his staff will discuss some of the myths and misinformation surrounding the subject of old English Shotguns and lead alternatives along with a Q&A session. We will also have BASC’s Director of Firearms, Bill Harriman on hand to answer questions on antique shotguns and offer valuations. Attendees are welcome to bring their Side-by-Side Shotguns with them to be checked for suitability and we will have a selection of cartridges available to be shot on a small driven clay layout we will have on site. The event will run from 10:00 to 14:00 and the cost of the event will include a bacon roll on arrival, refreshments and cartridges for use on the day.
