Wildfowl Identification Day
BASC and Gloucester Wildfowling & Conservation Association (GWCA) will be running a Wildfowl identification day at Slimbridge Wetland centre, Friday 15 March 2024.
Having the skills and knowledge to identify our quarry species is essential to ensure sustainable shooting.
Skilled members of the GWCA identification programme will talk you through the various species, look at ways to identify key species and guide you through the many species of birds we may encounter while out in the field.
You will need to bring a packed lunch although you would be able to purchase food and drinks from the Centres kitchen with suitable outdoor clothing for the expected weather and binoculars.
Time: 10:00 – 14:30.
Cost: £20pp this includes entry to WWT Slimbridge (open to members & non members)
