As part of BASC’s National Wing Week campaign, BASC North are running a Wildfowling evening in conjunction with Newcastle Wildfowlers Association at Westerhope Golf club on Tuesday 27th February.

The evening we include presentations on the importance of collecting wing samples and general Wildfowling update from Chris Wright BASC Wildfowling advisor.

We would encourage all Wildfowlers attending to bring along any wing samples on the evening to be recorded. Your support in gathering this important data helps us as a shooting community to take responsibility and act sustainably by monitoring the impact on the species we shoot.

We are especially in need of inland duck, goose, and woodcock wings.

The event is open to all Wildfowlers from across the Northeast and is a great social opportunity to meet up with like minded wildfowlers.

We will be holding a Duck shooting competition on our new VR head set great prizes to be won.

Free admission includes Pie & Peas.

To book your place or if you are unable to attend but would like to contribute wing samples please email  northern@basc.org.uk

We look forward to seeing you there.
