BASC Eastern invites you to come along for an experience to remember!
Upon arrival you will be welcomed by the BASC team over refreshments before moving into the shoot room for a presentation covering guns, chokes, duck flighting, species recognition, law and legislation.
We will then move onto a demonstration on how to prepare a duck and cook it, where you can sample a taster.
You will then be introduced to your experienced guide who will mentor you during the flight, giving you advice and tips where hopefully you will bag yourself a duck or two.
There will then be a luxury meal in the shoot room, where we can discuss the flight and answer any further questions you may have. This will be followed by a quiz where you will be able to win a unique prize!
The evening is fun and informative, a great way to try duck flighting with other likeminded people. Please note, this event is aimed at attendees with some shooting experience and not for complete novices.
BASC members and non-members welcome.
The cost for this event is £65pp for BASC members and £75pp for non members.
You will need to bring your shotgun certificate, shotgun (must be steel proof), suitable warm clothing, a hat and hearing protection. Your shotgun must be choked half or less, nitro proof and suitable for steel cartridges. Cartridges will be supplied.
Exact timings will be confirmed closer to the event, due to daylight hours.
