Join BASC for a workshop on woodland management.

Have you ever wondered how to get the best out of your woodland or not sure what support is available to you to fund your projects? Perhaps you are interested in deer and grey squirrel management plans and would like some help with getting started?

This workshop is suitable for anyone looking to manage woodland, control deer or grey squirrel or enter the venison production chain.

The day will comprise a mixture of discussion and a walking tour of a well-managed woodland on the beautiful Godmersham Park Estate in Canterbury, Kent.

Following an interesting and educational morning, we will finish the day with a locally sourced venison burger and soft drink. Please note that we cannot cater to specific dietary requirements.

The event will begin at 9.30am and run until about 2.30pm. Indicative timings:

9.30am – arrival and welcome
10.00am – group 1: workshop, group 2: walk
11.30am – break
12.00pm – group 2: workshop, group 1: walk
1.30pm – BBQ

Due to the demand of previous events this event is open to members only in the first instance. Cost £10.00, the event is subsidised as a member benefit.
