Young Shot Progression Day
The day is aimed at youngsters that have attended a young shots introduction day or have some prior shooting experience and are looking to take the next steps in there shooting development.
The day includes:
Theory session
- Shotgun types and calibers
- Shotgun/cartridges working
- Shotgun Law
- Certificate application
- Shotgun cleaning
Practical theory session
- Safety
- Quarry identification
- Range judging
- Conduct and shoot etiquette
- Carcass preparation
Shotgun coaching session
- Dedicated clay shooting session with BASC coach
Youngsters will need to bring a packed lunch and suitable outdoor clothing for the expected weather.
All other equipment will be provided but if your youngster has a shotgun they are welcome to bring it.
Time: 10:00 – 14:00. Once your Youngster has been signed in/registered with one of our staff, you may then leave and return at 14.00pm to collect them.
Cost: £40 members / £45 non members
Open to members and non-members.
Age: Minimum 10 years – Maximum age 18 years.
