The day is designed for Young Shots (aged 10-18) who are new to shooting, or have limited experience and would like to practice.
Following introductions and gun safety etiquette, there will be two activities for Young Shots to try over a morning session and after a lunch break. In these two session you will be able to have a go at air rifle target shooting and clay target shooting with a BASC accredited coach.
There is an onsite café for lunch (which would need to be ordered in the morning so it is ready for lunchtime) or you can bring your own packed lunch.
Head, ear and eye protection will be provided but if you have your own equipment then please feel free to bring on the day. Please wear outdoor clothing suitable for weather on the day.
If a young shot has their own gun and would like to bring on the day, then please inform us on booking (in this instance a guardian will need to be present for the day)
Cost: BASC Young Shot Members £25, Non-Members £35 (cost includes gun hire, ammunition, clays and one-to-one tuition, safety equipment).
