BASC North are running a Young shots clay pigeon day at Derwent Valley gun club on Saturday 24th August.
The event is aimed at both novices and those with clay shooting experience. There will be a range of different stands and targets available and each youngster will receive 1-2-1 tuition during the day.
Bacon butty, tea or coffee will be provided on arrival.
All equipment is provided including guns, cartridges, eye and ear protection. If your Young Shot has their own shotgun with a valid certificate they are welcome to bring it with them on the day, along with, ear and eye protection.
Young Shots will require suitable outdoor clothing and footwear for the expected weather.
Time: Registration is at 9:30, shooting from 10am to 2pm and collection at 2:30pm
Age: Minimum 10 years (please contact us if your youngster is less than 10 years old). Maximum age 18 year.
Cost: BASC Young Shot Member £25 pp and Non-member £30 pp
