| BASC North are delighted to announce that we will be running a Young Shots Game Day at Charlton Estate, Bow Rigg, Hexham, Northumberland on Saturday 31st October 2026
The day is exclusively for BASC Junior members and is a ‘Novice Day’, for those youngsters who are competent shooters but have little or no game shooting experience To apply for a place on the day you will need your own valid shotgun certificate and shotgun or be accompanied on the day by your parent / owner of the shotgun you will be using. All youngsters will be accompanied on the day by and experienced Game shooter / chaperone who we will arrange for you The estimated bag is 50 birds over 4 drives. We will look to stand 8/10 guns We will meet at 8.30am for Tea, Coffee and Bacon butties, check in/safety briefing then depart for the first drive around 9.30am. There will be food and drinks available after the shoot. This will be a great day exclusive for our Junior BASC members set in beautiful Northumberland countryside. Please note this is a Novice Day for those looking for their first game day experience with an experienced mentor Cost: £160 per gun / plus £20 beaters tip on the day Parents will be able to buy food and drink on the Day from the Bow Rigg.
