Amazing Game Shooting opportunity for
Young Shots!
Be quick to book your child`s place on our small driven game day in Derbyshire.
Young Shots will learn to shoot safely at a range of driven birds under the guidance of BASC mentors.
This event is aimed at junior members who have some shooting experience and want to experience driven game shooting.
Age: Minimum 10 years (must be physically able to hold and operate a shotgun safely). Maximum age 18 years.
Young Shots will need to wear warm and waterproof outdoor clothing/footwear suitable for a typical shoot during the winter.
Safety equipment and shotguns will be provided but if your Young Shot has their own shotgun, they are welcome to bring it.
On the day we will be using non-lead ammunition, shotguns will need to be a nitro proofed 12 or 20 gauge with 2 ¾ chambers and be choked at less than half. Cartridges will be provided.
Time: 8:00 – 15.30. Once your child has signed in/registered with us, you may then leave and return at 3:30pm to collect them.
Food and refreshments will be provided at the elevenses break. We will also be providing the young shots with hot chip butties at the end of the day.
Parents are not permitted on the shoot as we need to keep numbers on the ground and vehicles to a minimum.
