This is an introduction to game shooting for Young Shots and is ideal for the Young Shot who has previously been clay shooting and is ready for their first live game experience.
The day will include: meeting the keeper to discuss how a shoot is run, driven clay practice with simulated pheasant as well as experiencing both the beating line and live quarry shooting on a drive.
Meet at the barn near Newton Reigney, Penrith CA11 0BW at 9.30am
Each Young Shot will be given a mentor to guide them safely through the day.
You’ll need a shotgun with current certificate, hearing protection, safety glasses and suitable outdoor clothing.
Please bring a packed lunch and refreshments.
Cartridges will be provided.
The cost of this event is £30 and has been subsidised through the BASC North Young Shots fund. Places limited to 20
