Sir Alexander MacRobert purchased the Burnside Estate (now known as Douneside House) as a holiday home for his family in 1888. During the early 1900’s, the MacRobert family added extra rooms and a tower, transforming the property into the spectacular country house and gardens which are to be admired today.

Followed by mini flush for those that wish to take part £15 for 25 clays & Cartridges
17.00 – 18.00 Sumptuous supper
Ladies are matched with others of similar experience and given an Instructor and targets to suit them. If you have never shot before do not worry you will be taught the basics and will be hitting simple targets in no time. For the more experienced ladies the targets will of course be more challenging. Ladies coming on their own for the first time will have a “buddy” for the day.
Included in the price of £76 is gun hire, ear protection; safety glasses; insurance; clays; cartridges and tuition. Maximum ratio of 7 guns to 1 instructor / trap. Welcome drink and supper.
