Category: Sustainable Ammunition Day
BASC invites you to join them on a try sustainable ammunition day at East of England Shooting Ground on 2nd November.
The purpose of the day is to ensure you are informed and comfortable as we make the transition away from lead shot.
On the day you will be greeted by a member of the team and have your gun inspected ensuring it is suitable for steel shot.
You will then be briefed on the various types of cartridges available with different wadding systems and given an update on the UK reach process and have any question you have answered.
You will then be given a selection of cartridges based on your intended quarry/discipline and handed over to a BASC coach who will take you shooting.
Once you have finished shooting you will then be invited back to have further discussions and talk about the cartridges used.
Cost: BASC members £20 per person, non members £30 per person. These sessions are in groups of up to three people and should take no longer than one hour.
Attendees must be 21 years of age or over. Please ensure you bring your shotgun certificate with you on the day. Your shotgun must be choked half or less, nitro proof and suitable for steel cartridges.
