DO YOU SHOOT WILDFOWL?
We would like to invite you to a brand-new event for 2024!
As part of BASC’s Wing Week, we are partnering with Leicestershire Wildfowlers Association to run a Wildfowl Workshop. The workshops will include expert briefings on Sarcocystosis (rice breast), Wing ID and inland wetland and pond management.
The event will be held on 1st March 2024 at Priory Water, Leicestershire.
Drop off your wings from 3pm onwards, workshops from 6pm.
Between now and then, please keep your wildfowl and woodcock wings and bring them to the event. Where we will collect them in as part of BASC’s scientific monitoring project.
We are especially in need of inland duck, goose, and woodcock wings.
If you cannot make the event but could provide us with samples of wings please contact the office on 01283 810 910.
Hope to see you there!
