BASC Wales are pleased to be running gundog training and progression days in two parts at Monachty Estate, near Aberaeron.
Part 1 held Sunday 23 March
Part 2 held Sunday 13 April.
These events are suitable for the novice handler and young gundogs aged from 9 months upwards.
The 1st day will give our Country Officer and experienced gundog trainer, Meurig Rees, the opportunity to assess what stage your dog is at in their training. Meurig will also cover basic training, such as walking to heel on/off lead, sit/stay, recall and potentially short simple retrieve and delivery.
There is a break between the training days to allow you to practice the training learned on part 1 before coming back to showcase what has been practiced and move onto next steps in training. *No simulated shot will be used.
Even though this is a two-part training and progression event, you are able to book onto one session, however we advise booking on both and there will be discount applied.
Please ensure you bring:
- a suitable lead.
- a whistle.
- poo bags.
- water for dogs.
- a dummy if you have one.
- and a packed lunch for yourself.
Event price:
BASC Member: £40 per session or discounted price of £70 for both sessions.
Non-BASC Member: £50 per session or discounted price of £90 for both sessions.
** If booking both days at the same time a £10 discount will be applied**
