Join us for a Deer Best Practice event in the Forest of Dean on Saturday 2 October.

Schedule:

9.00am: Registration and refreshments

9.30am – 9.35am: Introduction from Alistair Boston (Deer Officer, Forestry Commission North West and West Midlands Area)

9.35am – 10.15am: ‘Sustainable ammunition’ Andrew Venables (CEO & Lead instructor, WMS Firearms Training)

10.15 am – 11.15am: ‘Deer physiology and anatomy’ Peter Green (BVSc, Cert EO, MRCVS Veterinary Consultant)

11.15am – 11.30am: Break

11.30am – 12.45pm: ‘Deer physiology and anatomy’ Peter Green

12.45 pm – 1.00 pm Q&A

1.00 pm – 1.30 pm: Break (candidates to provide their own lunch)

1.35pm – 3.45pm: At the larder with Peter Green demonstrating deer anatomy

3.45pm – 4.00pm: Q&A, finish.
