Introduction to game shooting
Woodbridge , Woodbridge, Suffolk,
Category: Wildfowling
Join BASC East at the beautiful Glemham Hall estate for an introduction to duck flighting.
On the day you will learn about the law and legislation, and quarry identification.
You will be shown how to dress a bird and you can give it a go if you wish.
There will be a cooking demonstration showing how quick and simple it can be!
You will learn about range judging and understanding how far and when to consider taking a shot.
In the evening you will be paired with a mentor and head to the pond for an evening flight.
Following this there will be a fun quiz and we will all eat before the night concludes.
Price: £ 75.00 per BASC member.
The flight will be shot using sustainable ammunition so please have a nitro proof 12 gauge shotgun with 2 ¾ chambers choked less than half. Sustainable ammunition will be provided. Alternatively if you would like to bring a different gauge shotgun you can, but you will also need to bring your own non toxic shot & non plastic wad cartridges (a couple of boxes will be enough). If you do not have this you will be unable to shoot.
BASC members only
You will need to bring your shotgun, Shotgun certificate, lunch and suitable clothing for the expected weather.
