BASC Wales is pleased to be hosting the first of two Novice Retriever Gundog training days in Carmarthenshire on Sunday 2 May with the second follow up day on Sunday 23 May where progress can be assessed. These events are for novice dogs and or handlers of Dogs aged 7 months and upwards but without working experience. Trainer Mike Jones of Wauniago Gundogs (and Welsh Retriever team member) has a vast knowledge of training, working as well as competition experience. His most recent success was achieving 4th in the 2019 International Retriever Championships with his dog ‘Buzz.’
• Please ensure that you bring along a suitable lead for your dog.
• Participants are advised to bring their own packed lunch and refreshments.
• Participants are advised that the event will be held on a green field site with no toilet facilities and should wear suitable clothing and footwear to suit the weather and uneven ground.
Places are limited to a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 10 places available in order to observe social distancing. Participants are asked not to bring guests with them in order to limit the numbers attending.
