Join BASC to test out the latest non-toxic (standard steel) biodegradable wad cartridges on Saturday 11 March at Nant-y-Moor Park.

All the major shooting organisations are calling for a 5 year phase out of lead shot for live quarry shooting in the UK. BASC are offering this informal opportunity to try it out and answer any questions you may have. This is a great opportunity to discover more about using sustainable shotgun ammunition for field shooting, and to find out how effective these loads are.

£15 per person includes 25 clays and cartridges overseen by a BASC Shotgun Coach.

Booking required – slots available are 10am, 10.30am, 11am, 11.30am, 12pm, 12.30pm 1.30pm, 2pm, 2.30pm and 3pm. Please arrive 15 minutes before your allocated slot.

Please bring your shotgun certificate.

***All those attending should be experienced shots and are required to bring their own 12 gauge shotgun, which will be checked by a member of staff to make sure they are capable of firing 70mm steel shot cartridge.

*** Cartridges available for 12 bore shotguns only with a minimum chamber length of 70mm, nitro-proofed and in good condition. Please take advice from your gunsmith if you are unsure of your gun’s suitability for use with standard steel cartridges.
