Want to give your kids something fun to do in the summer holidays?

BASC has joined with Leicestershire Wildfowlers Association to run this exciting event.

Spend the morning at the LWA Priory Water Nature Reserve, learning all about nature and conservation with guided walks and practical workshops, including making mallard nesting tubes and songbird nesting boxes.

After some lunch it will be off to Lakeside shooting ground for an afternoon of clay pigeon shooting, all under the expert guidance of BASC coaches.

Suitable for absolute novices and youngsters with some shooting experience.

Age: Minimum 10 years (Please contact us if your YS already shoots and is less than 10 years old). Maximum age 17 years.

Lunch and refreshment will be provided.

Young shots will need suitable outdoor clothing for the expected weather. All other equipment will be provided but if your Young Shot has a shotgun, they are welcome to bring it.

Time: 9.30 – 4.00.

Morning drop off and afternoon collection will be: Priory water, Kirby Bellars, Melton Mowbray, LE14 2ED

Cost: £10 to BASC Young Shot members (Young Shots must be a BASC member to attend)
