An Introduction to a Best Practice Gameshoot

Due to the current outbreak of COVID 19 we are delivering courses to government guidelines making sure they are COVID safe. Subject to the government guidance, local lockdowns and National Lockdowns we may have to postpone some courses in the future at short notice. Join the BASC Eastern team to learn everything you need to know about game shooting before heading out and trying it first-hand. You will learn who does what, where, when, how and why so that you understand what goes into running a best practice game shoot. You will receive a welcome presentation about BASC and information about the Code of Good Shooting Practice before a visit to the game chiller to dress birds as oven ready and a visit to a ride to see habitat management, feeders and drinkers. You will then practice on clay pigeons before pairing up with a mentors to experience some late season, driven, birds in woodland. Complete the day with a Q & A session over a late afternoon meal.

Guns will need to bring suitable clothing and footwear for the expected weather, Shotgun, Shotgun Certificate, PPE and Cartridges.

Cost: BASC Member £145.00, Non-member £150.00
